The registrations for the national level Common Admission Test (CAT) 2017 will begin in the month of August. The exam is conducted in the month of December every year.Last year, the exam was scheduled on December 4 and the results for the same were declared on January 9. Avidipto Chakraborty, from Kolkata topped the exam last year with 100 percent marks.Educational qualification for the examCandidates who are willing to appear for the exam must have at least Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institution. Candidates who are still in their final year of college or waiting for the results to be declared can also apply for the exam.Exam patternThe CAT exam is divided into three sections– Section one consists of Q and ASection two consists of Data Interpretation and Logical reasoning (LR)Section three consists of verbal and reading comprehension (VRC) Selection procedureThe final selection of the candidates is based on their performance in Written Ability Test (WAT), Group discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).The official notification for the CAT 2017 will be released in due time. Candidates are advised to check the official website of the same on regular basis.
