Students from IIT Madras bagged EO Global Student Entrepreneur Award
Daniel Raj David, a student from IIT Madras emerged as the national winner from India when the Entrepreneurs Organization announced the winner of EO GSEA award. He was awarded with the award at a glittering ceremony in Ahmedabad, where he received the cash reward of 50,000 and grabbed a seat to compete in the global finals in Frankfurt, Germany. In Germany he will compete against the winners from other 50+ countries. The finals will held in Germany from 2 to 29 April. On winning the award Daniel said “I am so honored to have won this prestigious competition. It has been a great learning thus far and am grateful for the time invested by EO members in mentoring and nurturing me through the process, thus far. It will enable me to grow my business, and I look forward to learning all that I can. I wholeheartedly thank Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) for this.” GSEA is a premier competition for the undergraduate students and is held globally. In GSEA thousands of student entrepreneurs from more than 50 countries participate and compete against each other. Its mission is to give student entrepreneurs an opportunity to accelerate their success and connect with an international peer group. “The entire World is looking at India for its entrepreneurial talent, people who can identify gaps and provide solutions thereby contributing to growing and improving our economy.
